Not defending the guy........but that does make a difference. The bad throws, staring down receivers, ect....yea..his fault. But it's hard to be consistant if you have different coaches telling you what to do.

As a Golf Pro......having several ways to swing a club is nice...but if 4 different people are telling you what to do...it's hard to know what is correct.

Pro as in golf shop pro, or pro as in playing tournaments pro?

We are going to watch Tyler Bray play tonight in his game against Washington Union, here in Fresno CA. I'll report my observations back to the board.
I will be there as well. I know ktown killer is going to be there. Should be a great game, the union has alot of speed and a good qb.

I thought the most impressive thing about his ESPN video was how deep he drops. He was at least a yard deeper than Scroggins (and the other QB's he threw with) every drop. The benefit comes in the angles and vision. The good part is that his release was just as fast as Scroggins who dropped back shorter. I think he's got potential to see the field opening day next year.

Kingsburg beat Wash. Union 28-21. Tyler was 18-34, 338 yards, 3td's and 1 pick . Probably at least seven dropped passes and 1td pass called back.

Nice! AS long as a high school QB is around 50% completion %, I am happy. Gotta take into account they are usually throwing to guys who will never get a sniff to play football after high school.

We went to the game tonight and watched Tyler for the first time. I would agree that there was at least 7 dropped passes and probably closer to 10 or more. I would say that there were only a few misthrown balls.

I was pretty impressed with his arm strength and accuracy. Tyler made several 20 + yard passes with a lot of zip on the ball. The balls were well thrown, crisp and on target.

I noted some very good leadership skills. One touch down was called back due to penalty and another nice drive ended on an interception..... Tyler was over on the bench rallying his team after following behind 14-7. He was talking to the receivers, the coaches.

With 50 seconds left in the first half, Tyler led the team down the field to a tying touchdown. The big play was a bomb down the side line for a TD. In the second half, Tyler threw 2 deep touch down passes. He had a pretty good game.

I believe early in the game, it looked like Tyler may have had some fustration with dropped passes, missed routes, touch down called back. He was talking to the coaches and the receivers, he got the team huddled and rallied the troops. He definitely was the team leader!

Tyler had a couple nice plays. One was out of the shot gun with the back in motion to the right, Tyler faked the hand off then kept the ball and ran left. He picked up about 6 or 7 yards and a first down. It appeared to be a designed play. The touch down passes were very nice, well thrown balls! He also evaded the rush a couple times, scrambled, and hit a big pass play down the field.

I thought he looked pretty good with a lot of upside potential. His frame, strong accurate arm with nice tight spirals. I was very impressed with his 20 to 40 yard pass!

I believe he will improve a lot once the UT staff get a hold of him. He looked pretty comfortable in both the shot gun and under center. It mostly looked like a 5 or 7 step drop in his drop back passing. They rolled the pocket left and right and he did a nice job avoiding the pressure.

Go Vols!

Thanks for the report! ^^^^

Bray's stats:

18-34 for 330 with 3 TDs and 1 INT
5 rushes for 32 yards
His 3 TD passes were for 23 yards, 39 yards, and 54 yards...

Tyler is also his team's punter. Not a bad punter but I would recommend that he sticks to QB.

I met his Dad tonight and he confirmed that the family is moving to Knoxville. The brother is the JV QB and the family wants to be able to watch them both play ball.

Totally kicks tail.

I am eagerly listening out for Ttyler's stats. He has all the potential in the world and will move up in the standings this year. I hope he claims best QB in Cali, and I think he has the ability to finish tops in this class.

I surprised at his rushing stats - happy but confused. I know one of the biggest concerns many had was his 40 time. In the videos I watched of him he looks quick and somewhat ellusive. I'll take a quick step over speed at QB any day. it'd be nice to have a QB that can get away from the rush. Great stats! Thanks for the update

What grade is his brother?

I don't. I'd rather he come in with a chip on his shoulder and something to prove.
