I have not read any new articles but I am exited about him coming to UT. He is a top 5 QB in the nation. I believe he may move up. Either way, he seems as good as any one else in this QB class. Has a ton of potential, maybe more than the others.

A guy on VQ went to go see Bray play live tonight. Here's the updates he's given so far:

76 yard TD strike on the first play from scrimmage. Perfect spiral hit the slot WR over the middle.

55 yard TD pass. They are playing a bad team but he makes it look effortless. Every throw is on the money.

I'm watching Blake Bell play on espnu I'm just not that impressed but maybe its just me I am starting to think Bray could be the best QB in this class

I really think he will be able to start next year unless we get newton. Then we still may but i doubt it then.. Either way as a sophmore he will be a hoss

Bell is based pretty much completely on upside. He's faaaaar from a polished product at this point.

The final updates:

This caliber is light years away from the SEC but he looks like the real deal. He throw a very accurate, catchable ball with good zip. He is every bit of 6'6 and thin but not far off of Ainge as a frosh. He isn't fast but he moves well and makes everything look easy.

Must have been off on my numbers. He finished up 8-12, 241 yards and 4 td's.

Whoever keeps saying that he doesn't have a big arm doesn't know what they are talking about. I remember this kid throwing so hard in the USC camp that WR's were dropping pass after pass. I remember the same kind of comments were made about Peyton...and all he's done is continue to be the top QB in the NFL for the last decade +

Love it, I doubt Tyler will be an All-SEC freshman or anything even if he were to end up the starter next year, but he's got nearly an unlimited ceiling if he gets the offense here down.

We're also a much more pass oriented offense than I had initially thought we would be. It seems like Kiffin has CROMPTON dialed up to throw and running is our obvious strong point. I can't imagine what will happen when we get an awesome quarterback to balance the attack out.

A Rivals Poster: Who is the QB with the most upside in this class?

Jeremy Crabtree: My vote would be Tyler Bray.

Barry Every: Most upside is probably Bell, Bray, Gardner, and Bolden. Not really in that order.

This came from the Rivals100 chat today...
