imo Jones will end up at DE. Fashaw could be our TE if he has a big year at Northwestern with Bridgewater. The staff has to see what Fashaw can do on the field. He's been hurt and hasn't been on the field in over a year. The staff is trying to get Fashaw in for the UCLA game for an official, but it is not known yet if he will be able to make it in...

Another TE prospect to watch is Ethan Farmer from NC. We are in his top 5 and he is coming to Knoxville for an official in October...

Someone on another board posted about a stud TE as a silent but did not say who. I could not figure it out for the life of me and thought if it was true it would be on here somewhere. I am also thinking they were not talking about Mosley, although he has been pretty silent lately....<crickets>....

believe that was the plan all along and if it didnt work then he would play Dline but I expect it to work out just fine with his athletic ability

LV, don't you think Jones gets his first chance on offense? It's going to be thick on the d-line. I think he does, and unless he does poorly I see him as a TE.

After today, I agree. We re gonna be 6 or 7 deep at DE.

Could be a freak of a TE.

Maybe he'll be the opposite of Warren Sapp. He'll be our go-to TE and only play DE once in a blue moon when he wants to break some QBs jaw! :)

On a serious note, thanks to Sab, Eric, and LV. You guys make this site a whole lot better. Keep up the great job!

I personally thought that one of the best things about getting Miller and Willis committed this weekend was the fact that we can put Young, who is a freak of an athlete, at TE. He could be a beast there.

Jones should be a heck of a tight end. DE is loaded, Willis will be a DT sooner than later IMO.

I agree with everyone he will be a tight end but a position that hasn't really been mentioned is linebacker. I've read Matt Milton weights 210 right now. Another 10 lbs and Milton could make for a heck of a receiving tight end. I just think it would be cool if Milton could steal the tight end role and Jones was used as a 6'6 linebacker. Huge.

I don't think he will either. I was just saying I'd like him to gain weight and play tight end. Mainly because I'd like to see a 6'6 linebacker roaming the field for our defense. Would be beastly.
