'10 FL RB Gio (Giovanni) Bernard

He loves the vols, but his family is pushing him to OSU, where his brother played. I expect UT to be in it to the end, but OSU may be to hard to pull him from.

Didn't you also say you had a source in the program that said Scroggins to UT?

Just wondering if I should listen to anything you say.

I may have him confused with someone else.

I think Bernard goes to FSU. JMO but I think it just makes sense.

"Oregon St. went good. There was a real family bond kind of thing going on there. I liked it and would rate it an '8'. Tennessee was a great atmosphere. The coaches were great, they had real nice players, and their fans are good. I'd probably rate it the same -- an '8'."

I think clements is quite a bit better than Bernard. Much more explosive and elusive as well as more of a pass catching threat.

Apparently we lead for him right now even though Miami just beat Ok. Not too worried about UGA.

When it comes to recruiting, the Rivals250 member is working with a list that consists of Alabama, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Florida State, Oregon State, Tennessee, Florida, Miami, and a new addition, Oklahoma State. The Cowboys recently replaced Oklahoma on his list of top schools.
"I have gone to Tennessee and Oregon State so far," Bernard said. "Notre Dame is the next one scheduled. I am going there this weekend."

Bernard also attended the UCLA game in Knoxville earlier this fall.

"Tennessee was a really good trip," he said. "I had a chance to meet some of the players and all of the coaches. I talked a lot with Coach Kiffin. The atmosphere there is amazing and it was a great game too."

Our best chance IMO to land a good back, but I just cant believe that Lattimore doesnt have at least a little interest in us being his buddies are all clad in orange.

I know Bernard and this kid gives 100 percent all the time. He's quiet, doesn't say much, expects to score every time he touches the ball, trained in a very disciplined program at STA, does not go down on first hit, has excellent speed and is tough as nails. Discipline is the key. STA played Miramar last night, Miramar undefeated, great athletes, but no discipline...they lose. Translate that into the players from STA with talent, and you've got guys who know how to win and expect to win.
