You're doing an admirable job of changing the subject and inserting a red herring into the discussion.
You said that Iowa is "terrible". I noted that a team that went 9-4, dominated a USC team the Vols got humiliated by, and upset then no. 2 PSU, is not "terrible".
I went on to point out that if Iowa is "terrible", the implications for Tennessee are dire. The Vols lost, at home, to a Wyoming Cowboy team. Do not even try to tell me Tennessee is better than Iowa at this point; thats just silly. Last year Iowa would have dominated UT and most on this board are well aware of that. You are the worst kind of delusional fan, blind to the facts and willing to make outlandish claims to degrade other teams.
Hardly... You should read more of my posts.
What Iowa would or would not do against UT is meaningless. I specifically said that I don't know because I have no idea how good UT is right now... come to think of it maybe you should read what I actually wrote in this thread.
Iowa is NOT a good team. They are mediocre team playing in a conference that's in a historic slump. It's premier team has been embarrassed in the national spotlight several times over the past few seasons. The Big 10 was a collective 1-6 in Bowl games this past season and some of the losses were outright blowouts. The lone win was Iowa's over a bad USCe team.
I really, honestly have no idea which way the Vol program is headed. I'm encouraged by some of the things Kiffin has done but when all is said and done... only the wins will count. The subject is my comment concerning Iowa.... and no matter how you slice it or dice... they're not a good program at this point. One seasons does NOT make a good program.
Let me put it this way. If Fulmer had had Ferentz's record 05-07... he wouldn't have had a 08 record at UT.
