'10 GA RB Mack Brown

Florid will do a lot more traditional running with a RB and a direct handoff in 2010. There is a reason Mack Brown wants to go to Florida, and it's because Meyer is promising him a lot of carries.

But just FYI, Jordan Reed is a huge QB that can run, and I believe you will see him in the single wing in 2010 just like Tebow was in 2006.

We heard this same story last year. Have you heard any rumblings about your offensive coordinator position? I heard that you may be making some changes.

.

FTR, Meyer has promised (aka lied to) several RB's in his time at UF like that.

Tim Tebow > "Jordan Reed"

*Note the quotation marks

But Jordan Reed is just as big, and faster. Not as good a passer, but if all you want him to do is run in short yardage situations, (ie. Cam Newton in 2007)

Then that's fine.

I bet Jordan Reed ends up with 30 carries next year, at least. Brown will probably barely see the ball unless he really impresses in practice.

Gillislee is looking good as a freshmen, and Demps, Rainey, and Moody will all be getting carries as well.

Florida's RB's are a little overrated by UF fans, but highly underrated by their rivals. They'll be fine next year.

There is no proof either way, and it is all hear say. Anyone that says they no for sure is full of ****. The only people that know are Meyer and Snead. I won't say that he did or didn't say it, but every recruiting site had Tebow as a top QB, and I highly doubt that Meyer would say he was coming here to be a FB, and if he did Snead would have to be an idiot to believe him.

Have you ever read Meat Market? Snead says it in that book when Orgeron recruited him to Ole Miss. lol thanks, try again...

Just because Snead said it does not make it true. Meyer also said that he never said that to Snead. There is no proof either way that shows who is right or wrong.

Ok, so by the same logic this "must" be true too, because this high school coach said it.

Also on Friday, Keith Easterwood, a veteran summer basketball coach, said that on a visit last year with his son, a football recruit, he had to ask a hostess to stop brushing her breasts against both him and his son.

He recalled saying, “Young lady, if you don’t stop doing that, we’ve got a problem.”

Easterwood said that he took a group of basketball players to a Western Kentucky football game at Tennessee this year, and that the presence of the hostesses had his players “literally reduced to blubbering idiots.”

“I’ve been up there five times, four for football and one basketball visit,” Easterwood said. “My observation is that this is a very organized operation. These girls have obviously been groomed. There’s a lot of eye contact and touching.”

That comes from the NY Times and I'm sure it would be impossible for him to come out and make a false accusation.

Like this, there is 0% of proof that Meyer ever said to Snead that Tebow was going to be a LB, FB, or anything other than a QB. Just because one person says something does not make it fact. How many people said Luc will be a Vol. People can say things that aren't true.

Ok, so I'm new here, my first post. I've been reading this board for a long time however. While this may seem like a simple case of "he said/she said" RespectfulGator, the fact that Snead's accusations wound up in print in the book Meat Market lend a tremendous amount of credence to his claims. There is about 0% chance that ESPN Publishing opens themselves up to libel/defamation law suits over unverified claims of an 18 year old kid. Trust me, that would have been verified by multiple sources, even if the public stance of the Gators, and the coaching staff remain to the contrary. That fact alone is proof enough. Sorry, I just got frustrated at the obvious lack of comprehension of that point. carry on.

His coach said it too and he was the one that had to talk Snead out of going to UF. Snead actually wanted to believe Meyer because he really wanted to go to Florida.

Meyer has never ran the ball anywhere he has been and he is not going to start next yr...before it was Alex Smith then it was Tebow and now same ole stuff with Brantley next yr..he will sit back in shotgun just like Alex and Mack will avg 7-10 carries a game over his career...I would seriously rather see him go to Ga than Fla so he wouldn't at least be wasted
