'10 GA RB Mack Brown

Not true. According to James Bryant on insidetennessee.com we are still VERY much in the hunt for seastrunk, corey nelson, and ahmad dixon

thanks for the headsup. i only follow "free reads" on rivals and scout. haha im a "noob" at recruitng! :)

under armour all-american and four-star running back mack brown from martin luther king high in lithonia, ga., picked florida over georgia, alabama and a host of other programs earlier this season.

"i am shocked and just confused," he said. "i had a strong relationship with coach meyer because he recruited me."

Im not sure we want him, unless we strike out with some others guys

We want him. He's at the top of our RB recruiting board. We would have to get Seastrunk for it to affect our feelings on Brown and that is very unlikely to happen.

Yea but Rex went all in and said earlier that we WILL get Seastrunk..

didn't you get to read his last thread? LOL

Brown now says he is 100% committed to UF because Urban is coming back per Josh Ward's twitter.

Don't put to much in this 100% quote.. Once everything pans out these kids will start to re-think this..

They are not dumb..

Lets see what happens after the bowl game. If Meyer has another episode of his issues, it would not surprise me at all if he went ahead and resigned. IMO, if it occured after the SECCG, there is no reason it wont again.

I agree Matt, I think Meyer is done.. And like some have said, it will be announced soon... Probaly after NSD.. I wouldn't be suprised to see it announced during the season next year..

why is he done? why does everyone think this

Its obvious that this "health" problem isnt as serious as people are making it to be or else he wouldnt have changed his mind so fast. There may be something minor wrong with him dont get me wrong but this story came up out of no where there were no rumors or anything at all about him leaving before the story broke on ESPN. I think there is a possibilty of something bad at UF right now that no1 knows about yet that could get him or the universtiy in trouble. Maybe he sees something in his team that maybe makes him think that maybe he doesnt think its good for him to stay around much longer, maybe the pictures of Leon Orr, possibly Strong and Gonzalez leaving this year, or him having to tweak his offense to fit Brantleys talents. We all saw how Florida done with they went Semi-Spread when it was Urbans first year they had an 8-4 season I think somewhere in that area. Im just thinking that maybe he has been thinking for a while that he might want to try something else out. And his dehydration after the SECCG is maybe what made it final that he is leaving I just dont think that he is telling the complete truth about this. But of course when has he told the actual truth.

I don't think that has anything to do with it. I really think it is 90% health based and 10% family. He has had heart issues since he was at Utah. And he was unconscious after the SECCG. I think it was downplayed how major of a scare that was. Docs have told him for years that he needs to reduce his stress level, and he feels he hasn't been there at all for his family. If he thinks he is able, he will coach next year. But I think it is way too early to tell.
