The kid is solid, but basically because he doesn't have a whole lot of other options. He wants to play in the SEC, but Auburn and Georgia never recruited him, it's thought that Bama backed off, and Florida and he decided to go their separate ways after FNL. He was basically down to us when he committed. I'm not saying the kid aint good. Dude can play. But there has to be another reason for those schools just not wanting him.

hey, i'll take it :)

I dont want to burst any bubbles in UT country. I am just as excited that Ambles gave UT a verbal. But I feel as if I should tell yall something. I went to a school in Ambles county. The county is Henry if anyone didn't know. I will admit he has great speed and can make some exciting catches. The problem is the schools Henry County High School play against aren't that good at all. I mean one of the big games is against Eagles Landing (where I went) and they havent had a winning season in, well I dont think they have ever had a winning season. I know CLK and his crew will get this kid into great shape on and off the field and hell who knows he could be the next Meachem. I just wanted everyone to know that the kids numbers could be a little large because he plays against teams that arent very good.

It is called God pulling the strings for his favorite team......

While your point is completely valid, you have to also take into account that this is the #7 rated WR from Rivals. I'm sure they take competition into account. The kid's got skills.

If level of competition was such an important factor in player evaluations, then Bryce Brown wouldn't have been in last year's Rivals 250, much less #1 overall.

If you can play, you can play.

IDK. When I say the other schools are bad I mean they are horrible. I am sure Rivals took into account that he has good hands and is quick but if they took into account competition he would prolly be lower. The schools he plays against put 11 in the box to stop the run. They suck. That doesnt take from his talent. The same is said about Bryce Brown poor weak competition. Browns older borther plays for Miami. Projected to start when he signed, but he had trouble with the speed at this level. The kid could be great though. Who knows Crompton was highly recruited and he blows balls.

You mean the same Bryce Brown who won the MVP at the HS All-American game? Yeah, all I am saying is that I bet the people who rate these guys at multiple recruiting news websites and dedicate their profession to it probably no more about how he he scores in comparison to other top prospects... I'll take their word for it.

P.S. - What does "IDK" mean?

First IDK means I dont know as in the way I put it IDK if your right. Now I am not taking anything away from Bryce Brown, so calm down I am not picking on him. I actually really think he is a great RB. Now with that said things get called into the picture when you go from high school to college football which you know all ready. I was using Browns brother as an example. He was great in high school, but because he lacked a competitive region of play when he stepped to the next level it took him awhile to adjust. I think Ambles could be in the same boat.

Badass hat. Showing it off at one of the biggest camps in Florida as well.

sounds like a good kid....really soft spoken....said he is not worried about QB and that we will get a QB and that they are currently talking to a few guys

I love how he had the hat and shirt. I also like how he knows he has to work for that starting spot. Great pickup.

I think that says a lot about the kind of player he is going to be. It's one thing to be talented, but a whole different thing to put that talent to use through hard work and perserverance.

This also does a little to dispel the idea that he's over confident and has an attitude problem. In a previous article he mentioned how he and BB will be a good complement to each other and talked a little about how he thinks he'll be used. It seemed like several people took that as overconfidence. It sounds to me like he knows that he has the talent, but also knows that he's going to have to put in the work to get where he wants to be.
