please everyone stop arguing with the backup punter. he's running down one of the greatest defensive minds in football...ever. do you all realize who you are arguing with?

The "TAMPA 2" was Tony Dungy's baby. Tony made Tampa Bay great, Gruden and Monte benefitted from it. Idy runs the same D. Check it out. Not saying Monte not a smart dc, but there are reasons he didnt get a look for many hc gigs. "One of the greatest defensive minds" lol There are a whole lot of them!!!!!:hi:

Never said our players couldn't adopt. If they want children, that's their choice.

yeah...and Urban won with Zook's and Miles won with Saban's. Nobody's saying that Monte invented the "cover 2" (and neither did Dungy) but he has fine tuned it to the point that it is his baby and it works...it works so well that much of the NFL runs an exact copy of it...but I guess that was Dungy's idea and Monte just stole it....riiiiiigghht.

Volball333, you obviously think more of yourself than anyone else does. If you backed up Peyton and Tee, I would say "wow, pretty tough breaking in." If you backed up the secondary and/or WRs, I would say "at least he ran scout team." If you were even the waterboy, I would say, "at least he was the starting waterboy." YOU WERE THE FREAKIN BACKUP PUNTER and you have come here talking crap about how you know more football or are a better athlete than any of us. You might want to take a HUGE step back.
We all understand that you LOVE Fulmer. The fact remains is that CLK didnt fire him. If you want to be mad, get mad at the AD and the boosters and the 90% of the fans who realized that FULMER fielded lame teams with lame coaching.

He had a lot of looks for hc gigs. He just enjoyed being a dc. Ever thought about it. And Tide fan stay out of Orange Swarm business. We don't like talking to the second-best (if that) defensive mind in football fans. Go get on a Utah Utes board or something.

You dont have a clue. The Utes would have beat ut by 40!!!!!! I just dont see why people talk about Utah when they finished ranked 2 in the BCS. So I guess getting beat by the no.1 and no.2 team in the nation means you suck. I bet you wished ut was there.

So I gues Dungy is the best (defensive mind), right. I have to say Nick Saban is one of the best defensive coaches out there.

You are joking right? Monte got mentioned as a HC after every season. The one constant with TB was the defense. It was Monte's brainchild, not Dungy's.

We win when we go the a BCS game. I guess you forgot that we got that SEC ball rolling. Yeah 1998 we were the first ever BCS champions.

USC – "Brice Butler, a receiver from Georgia, went there. I know him. It felt good to get that offer – real good. For them to come all the way across the country and offer me this early was big."

Florida – "I love the atmosphere there. I went to their game against LSU and it was nice. The crowd is ridiculous."

Alabama – "That was awesome. I like their coaches."

Auburn – "I went there for summer camp and went back again, too. I like it there."

Ole Miss – "I like their wide receivers coach. That would be a good spot for me. A place where I could play early. They have a great stadium with great facilities and a great weight room."

North Carolina – "I like it there. It's hot there. I like the coaches and they have real good facilities, too."

South Carolina – "It's nice at South Carolina, too, kind of like North Carolina."

Tennessee – "I just started back talking with them with their new coaches. I'm going to go up there soon."

Oregon – "We went to a 7-on-7 there and got to see the school, too. It's the top around the nation. Everything you'd want is there. I could play early. Plus they are not a bad team either."

Who should be #1 in 2010

Mike Farrell's answer: I'm going with McDonough (Ga.) Henry County wide receiver Markeith Ambles. He has the size, speed, ball skills and route-running to dominate at every level. He had 53 catches for 993 yards and 13 scores as a junior, and he's an acrobat when the ball is in the air. He was the most dominant player I saw at the U.S. Army Combine and recently pulled in offers from Florida and USC. He likely won't start off as No. 1, but I think he moves up the charts as the year goes along, and with a standout performance at the U.S. Army Game next January, he could push for No. 1.

I definitely agree we can't lose him to georgia. That would be terrible. Kiffin, and the whole UT nation would love to have an explosive playmaker like him.

I really like Ambles' tape and I've seen him in 1-on-1 clips. He could definitely be a game changer for any program he joins.

A Georgia guy told me the other week that there were character concerns surrounding him and that's why UGA hadn't offered yet. I didn't want to put it out there until I could learn more, but the newest Rivals article seems to touch on it.

"I know the reason why (Georgia hasn't offered), but I'll go up to meet with Coach Richt on Tuesday and talk about some stuff...

The Georgia guy told me that he believed there was a fight at Ambles' old schoool, which is why he transferred to a new high school.

Until I hear more surrounding the alleged incident, it's not a concern for me personally, but I will definitely be looking into it further.

"We were in a dark theater and all of a sudden they turned on the lights and the coaches ripped off their shirts," Ambles said with a laugh."It was like in the army and it got crunk up in there. Some of the players that were in there did some chants. It got crunk."

that made me laugh..

This guy really likes the Vols.
"It was awesome," Ambles said. "It wasn't what I expected. It wasn't like the old staff. The new staff is different and they are more high energy. They are smart. Coach Wilson set down and went over scheme and their offense which is going to be like Southern Cal."

"I didn't know that they were going to be running that kind of offense," Ambles said. "I think it sets you up to play at the next level. I didn't know the coaches were going to be like that. I want to play for coaches like that."
