We should have a real nice DT class this year. O is working hard to make sure of it. I expect to have a nice OL class when all is said and done too, but it's too early to tell. Some of the prospects we will end up signing you haven't even heard of yet.

My take on it is he was offered and committed but they want him to stay silent because we do have some big time guys still on the board and im sure they would prefer to keep the juco guys from speaking up too soon to scare off the HS guys.

thats my hope anyway ;)

Is he one of those silent commits?

Not that anyone would know because then by definition he would not be a silent commit.

I don't think we will here much about this guy until fall. We are looking at other avenues right now and I believe he is a fall back kinda guy.

govols still has this guy as one of three commitments for 2010 listed in an article dated may 8th. The article is about the DT Johnson that commited for 2011. fwiw

The only thing I can say for sure is that he is a juco. he is the one who said he commited but as it turned out supposedly didn't have an offer on the table. But scout I think now has him listed with an offer and high interest.

Is this guy or is he not a guy on the commit list? He was in the most recent GVX article as being a committed player. Just wondering whats up.

kidding about the 12th. they silenced him so has not to detract from any high school kids they might want.. probably are bringing him back now to pressure some kids. O likely telling them, only 2 spots left at DT.. better get on board...
