That is surprising....especially Seastrunk. What happened to him and Reed being a package deal. Just goes to show you that it rarely happens.

Reed will take his first official visit next weekend (Oct. 31-Nov.1) when he travels to Eugene, Ore. to watch the Ducks play host to USC. That is the only official visit that he currently has lined up, but he said that three other schools will get official visits.

“LSU, Auburn and Tennessee will get one,” said Reed. “I don’t have them set up yet, but they’ll get one.”

If by a miracle we ended up signing Reed how do you think our WR's look next year? I'm thinking Cobbs and Meline will end up on defense (if both of them commit) Reed and Ambles would play and Milton would probably red shirt. For the players we already have, Gerald Jones would be a senior and play and Denarius Moore would be a senior and play. Richardson and Teague would both be sophmores and play. On top of that I heard a while back that James Green could be here in January. Do I have all this right so far? It seems like we have a ton of WR's how are we going to get them all their fair share of touches because if I was a WR I'm not so sure CLK could convince me there is an opportunity for early playing time with all these players.

Will be interesting. How does Scout have Cobbs the #2 WR in the nation if so many feel his position in college will be a safety?

I think Rivals has this one right. They have him as an ATH and from what I've seen their analysts say about him, they think he would be a better safety than a WR...

Back to Reed, I hope we can get him on campus. Reed and Seastrunk would like to go to the same school. We have two spots open for them.

If LSU loses this kid it will really hurt them. Seastrunk and Reed are supposed to be theirs and their message boards would melt down if they lost them.

LSU is not having that bad of a season either although they do have to put up with 3rd and Chavis now.
