'10 MS OT Damien Robinson

Damien's Olive Branch squad lost to Barry Brunetti's squad 20-15 tonight.

Score was more lopsided that it appears. Brunetti exited with 4:30 left after picking up a 1st down in the redzone. Backup misses the ensuing shotgun snap. Olive Branch recovers and scores 2 plays later. Extra point is blocked. Olive Branch recovers the onside kick, and scores the next play. MUS recovers the 2nd onside kick and Brunetti runs out the clock.

Including Robinson, Olive Branch has 3 OL that were 6'6 - 6'7 and over 290 each. The MUS defensive line, which is very much smaller, managed to get in the backfield all night. Second year in a row this has happened.

Olive Branch has some youngsters that will certainly appear on our radar in the next 2-3 years.

LV, you are one of my favorite posters on this site (along with hatvol). But I got to know, why do you always end your posts with 3 periods. I'm not sure if that is for dramatic effect or if that is time that I should insert the sound of Darth Vader breathing. Either way, I gotta know...

haha, i dunno man. It's something I've always done on message boards. Can't even remember what made me start doing it...

I do it too. I think its just insinuating that you want someone else to continue the conversation. A period is so...end all be all. I want people to keep talking, you know...

This guy keeps it on the down low more than anybody I would be surprised if there is any new information.

"They're a pretty good team," he said of LSU. "I'm really just trying to figure out my top five. We're trying to figure that out this week. I have no idea when I'll make my decision, but I should have the top five soon."

While he claims he isn't quite sure which schools will be on the list of five, he knows what sort of things he will be looking for in those schools.

"Really just the important stuff," he said. "I'm not worried about distance. Distance isn't going to be a factor at all. It's not gonna be a problem. It'll mostly be the academics, the coaching staff and the overall athletic department."

Also says lsu will be a strong contender.

I'm hearing it's down to Ole Miss and LSU here fellas. Not to say we haven't pulled the rug out from people before, but it looks like this one is a long shot.

We are good shape here for the time being. This one isn't close to being over. Wilson will be by Olive Branch sometime this week to see Robinson and Shon Coleman, today I think...

I keep getting the feeling that Robinson may not be too high on our board at the moment...
