'10 OK ATH Demarco Cobbs

A commit from this guy would be awesome. I wouldnt be suprised if we stopped recruiting all WRs except for Prater if it happens.

Another Visit!! Sweet... He would be a great pick up.... Anyone have any "new" news on Bray

Demarco will be a great get for whoever he goes to. Really nice kid with a good head on his shoulders, I probably have the best relationship with him than any other recruit.

Do you think he'll commit this weekend?:hi:

I was told by a very reliable guy that he is a done deal to UT, and asked my boss to if I should call him and see where he's at but we decided itd be best to call him after his visit to UT this weekend just in case he commits. If he doesn't commit publicly I wouldn't be surprised if he gives the staff a silent one, I know he's in to silent commitments.

he said in the rivals article that he is picking a team during the season so he can see teams play or if not that he said until signing day but he might be just bsing

This guy could play WR or LB in college because of his frame. I would love to see him on the defensive side of the ball really, he'd be a terror the way he moves.

Yeah I think he is Safety as well. Best spot to get him into the NFL maybe OLB with 20 lbs added. He would be a good college WR but not sure if that gets him drafted.

Getting Cobbs would give us some major momentum. Getting the #116 player in the country is always big news. I love this staff.

to slow to play receiver especially only being 6'1... i say keep him at RB or put him on defense at OLB or Safety i dont know what he plays on defense in highschool anyone know?

Sounds very Taylor Maysish.

Taylor Mays is 6-3, 230. Darren Myles is 6'2" and 190ish.

With his frame though, he going to put on a good 10-20 lbs in college with a good weight program.

He looks like he's just about filled out his frame already. Some guys don't add much weight in college. Besides there's no guarantee that he does add that weight and I can't see him as a linebacker until he does. He starts off as a safety before linebacker for certain.

i bet we just keep him at RB or WR.

Unless something doesn't work out with Richardson, Teague, Ambles, Milton and Jones..

Then the only reason Cobb wouldn't move to S is because he couldn't cut it..

I could defintely see him used on some offensive plays..
But he would be better equiped to play defense..
