He'll need 2 years to develop his skill set at WR if that's what he comes to school to be. Plus, if he had 2 years under his belt with the S&C program, he would be a dangerous weapon. Milton is in the same boat, IMO. Ambles is the only one we have right now that would be in direct competition with anyone we would sign this year or that is currently on the team, IMO. He's a difference maker now, the other two aren't there just yet. Milton looks great, but he's playing against HS competition and being 6-6 has it's advantages. Cobbs is a good/great prospect, but not elite in my book.

This is all my opinion Sab. I don't agree with a lot of people, and that makes me unique on a lot of things. I'm right about some wrong about others. It doesn't hurt me that Jeremy Crabtree sees things differently than I do.
Uh....arent all recruits? Thats not sound "resoning" for a player not being prepared for College ball, IMO.
If anything I think Cobbs could come in and play from Day 1 and Ambles would need a year to bulk up. Physically Ambles is no where close to being able to play in the SEC right now whereas Cobbs is physical enough and already big enough to contribute ASAP IMO.
It's not just Jeremy Crabtree, Eric. It's what everyone who knows anything has said about Cobbs and you tried to make me look like a jackass for saying it.
You are the first person I have heard that actually says that Cobbs isn't physical enough or ready physically to play WR. Probably because that isn't the case.
I form my own opinions and let the experts have theirs because a lot of their opinions have been wrong based on hype alone.
I think a large reason why Nuke is getting so much playing time early is that we are very thin at the position. Without injuries i don't think he would getting nearly as many touches as he is getting now at WR. Same goes for Teague.
I'm saying that Milton's size will be used against him in college because he's not used to breaking a lot of jams off the line. He's got to get some good weight on his frame when he gets here to be effective.
Hey Sab, after watching the AMP video that you previously posted about Cobbs.....is it just me, or does he look EXTREMELY slow/tentative coming out of his breaks on routes?
Oh yeah he would. He's a difference maker with his speed and field vision. That's why Florida was so pissed we took him.
