I think Locke out of Kentucky is a good example of a speed back. He was recruited to run track. He's a fast one.

If we can't get a top 5 back, i would really hope they save the scholarship for a position of need(OL)....and by top 5 i don't mean a rivals top 5, I mean what the coaches consider a top 5. we have toney williams coming back next year and channing fugate is probably the most underrated recruit in the class.

i think jahvid best will win the heisman this year IMO plus Jahvid best > rainy+demps.

Oku will be good but he's not a true burner at all. But he'll be a good back for us.

You can't seriously want Gore over Lattimore.

I think he would bring an element to our backfield that we don't have. Lattimore would no doubt compliment Brown and keep a fresh 210-215 lb back smashing into a defense but Gore brings the raw speed that we don't have in our backfield right now. Don't get me wrong I don't think Gore is better than Lattimore.

That's what I was thinking. We slam them with Brown. Let Oku spin them around. And then let Gore blow by them on screens and things. He'd be a matchup nightmare in our system.

Really dude stop drinking the Orange Kool-Aid. The three guys you named will be good players and they are fast. But we need a true burner on offense. The type of player that can't be caught from behind.

im pretty sure the QB has very little effect on the performance of brown and oku. and idc how much POTENTIAL nuke has, he hasnt done anything at all when hes gotten his chances. i know they are just freshman, but they are not the type of player im talking about when i say burner

Yeah I like Ethan Grant too. I think a back like Grant would have hurt Florida bad on those swing routes Brown was getting on the outside.
