'10 SC DT Kelcy Quarles

I don't know much about recruiting, but I think that Kelcy's dad and his health will eventually convince him to stay. When the dust settles it won't matter. Our Dline will be stacked for the future one way or another.

Frankly, it is probably best for his entire family if he stays in SC. Just my opinion.

Greenwood is about 1.5 hrs from Columbia and probably no more than 3 hrs from UT. I doubt distance will be a deciding factor between the two.

quarles recently met with brad lawing, our D line coach, and supposedly firmed up his commitment a little. However, I am worried because the floridas and lsus of the world are starting to show a lot of interest in him. If he switches his commitment, I think it will be to UF, LSU, Bama, before UT.

Right, that makes a lot of sense thanks for your insight.

.......Aaaaaaannnndd back to reality

has this quarles thing soured hv? nycvol seemed pretty sure of it...quarles is either lying to us or lying to the gamecock staff because he has told the gamecok staff that he will reaffirm his commitment
