'10 TN DE Jacques Smith

Times Free Press has an article on him. He said he wants to be in class somewhere Monday morning. UT, Bama and LSU are his three he's considering. Said he wants to talk with DD this weekend to get a feel for him. So I'd say as of now, he is still undecided.

Let's hope he likes what DD has to say.

If JS will really look into LSwho and see that Miles is slowly letting them fall apart he might realize he needs to commit to a school, its tradition, facilities because coaches come and go and now that Saban's kids are gone LSU and Miles maybe seperating soon enough. Miles won a NC but with Nick's kids and Miles is just another version of Kiffin alot of mouth

YES!!!!! So out of all the EE's we had, who have we officially lost? I know Brandon Willis, and Thompkins but is that it?

There were about 12-15 kids left from Saban's recruiting for the NC and most did not play a single game with him at coach. I think the only one that got downs might have been Jacob Hester as a Freshman. So, what you are suggesting would seem to be pretty much false on it's face.

Les's downfall will probably be because he has failed to let Gary Crowton go.

id say that conversation has or will take place today. if anybody knows, here, it will be ooltewah, so i, too, hope he is right. jac has been the heartbeat of this recruiting class for a long time and i honestly can NOT picture him in any other color but orange.

The talks of Jac and another school was just him being upset over the change but he is a vol all the way

Does anyone know if DD plays the best man on the field (underclassman) or if he stays loyal to his seniors and only plays them (like Fulmer). I only ask because his whole press conference was about loyalty and etc. A big sell to this program before was early playing time, and I think that is the way the program should be run..

I agree I'm gonna be pissed if they don't play the best players. Also I hear coach double D may play some 3-4 on D and smith should like that.

jac talked to coach O every week plus it was his position coach.

Im not sayin he wont be back, but u gotta understand his support system just walked out on him, anyone in their right mind would step back from the situation and take their time sorting things out

Truth. Btw, did chavis recruit him at UT?

looks like we are bout to lose Jacques..he posted this on his facebook status Jacques Davon SMith ALAbama or L S U!

That dumb...just plain dumb.

You're nothing but a blind homer if you look at this and persecute these kids for having second thoughts. I understand that UT didn't didn't up and leave, but the coach they committed to did. I don't know why we are so ignorant to all of this. These recruits are not college football fans...they're soon-to-be college football players. You have no idea what they're going through. They have to make the best decision for them and their future...not the best decision for you.

Everything Jac is doing makes total sense.

I just hope he's All Vol when it's all said and done.

Glad to see ooltewahvol posting again!
