New article in the Tennessean. He says, "Now that I've been able to talk to coaches and have a better understanding of their offenses, I want to watch them more closely this year and that will help me make a decision." Sounds like he won't commit for a while.
Agree, he will be a Vol unless we run out of room which I think we hold for him. He is going to make his official visits. He wants to play the recruiting game and enjoy it.
Doubt this thread gets lit up anytime soon. Sounds like he has no intention to commit anytime in the near future. Also sounds pretty open. Bama may be the leader in the school dept. , he will get all the textbooks he needs, plus some he don't
I doubt he will be at Bama, but could be wrong. We already have 3 OL commits and I think we are looking for one more but if another commits first which might happen soon I dont see Stone at UA and most of our boards aren't even talking about him. We already have 19commits for our scholarships for the 2010 class and there is 6 to 7 others that have cleary stated we are their leaders and should end up at UA. That does not include players like L Owens or C Grant instate that look more AU bound or others who have us listed like Prater or Cobbs.
Is he still one of the better o line prospects. I honestly have not many if no sources but from what I heard he wasn't impressive at our camp and really hasn't done much else. Does anyone know how high our staff is on him.
The kid has said he is very serious about academics. I do not think he goes to Stanford too far. I think Vandy is a player. Bama and UT as well. If playing in his home state staying close to home and being wanted very badly mean anything we are ok.
We needed to make a big impact this past signing day for publicity. That will not be the case with the next one. Our main focus will be on getting the key pieces that we need. We will still get plenty of publicity from being a top 5 or 10 class.
