'10 TN OL James Stone

Hens, he is not in a hurry. he is going to take official visits to other schools, so even if committed he ain't committed..

I would do the same just to see what other schools had to offer. If anything to how UT stacks up to other schools.:D

new article about stone on vol quest anyone know whats up with him? is he higher on the vols than before?

We are def in the mix, alot of people are telling him to go to UT and alot are telling him to stay away. Smith (Jaques) is in his ear all the time.

Kid is going to take his time making a decision. Smith is I'm his ear all the time trying to get him to come to Tennessee. Would be a great thing to land Smith and Stone this year. We would secure some of the top talent in the state. Throw Brunetti in the mix and we have made strides in buildinng our fence around the state.

Stone is a major player on our board IMHO

"They stand really well," Stone said. "Especially after I experienced their coaches. I feel like I responded well to what they were teaching in a positive way. They stand even better with me. They are in top percentile because I don't have a top school. They are up there."

From VQ...

Once the QB situation is taken care of the OL kids will start to roll in. I believe Fulton will be the first OL to commit.

Kid would be a great get for this class. Helping secure the borders definetly starts with this guy. Getting a top notch quarterback would really help in landing Stone.

Why has Smith not talked this guy into committing yet ? Do your job JS. j/k

We really need this guy !

Yeah I would love to get him and Fulton. They could be our book ends of the future if Stone stays at Tackle. Fulton would be a great get, and could be a future five star.

Fulton ripped it up in camp. He was suppose to be the only consistent O lineman during the Lineman Day.

Stone was eaten alive by Corey Miller. But it was not a reflection on Stones abilities, it was more a show of force by Miller. Stone's technique is one area where he needs to improve, but Rivals says he is as good as the hype.

Well Corey Miller would be hard for anyone to cover in one on one drills, but if it showed anything it's that Stone might better be suited at guard

Corey Miller really came out and played. As for Stone he seems to be real impressed with the Vols as of right now.

if this was next year and stone had seen the offense in game action he would be committed by now..a qb would help too

I mean, come on man! Somebody's got to pull the trigger first, either a QB or O-linemen have to commit first!
