UT and UA coaches both visited Stone in home Wednesday night. He said he will not make a decision until NSD, but it looks like UT will get him in the end.

BTW Tom Lemming is predicted Stone to UA so that really bodes well for UT since he is wrong more then he is right.

I think Stone always wanted to go to Tennessee but him and his people despised Kiffin and Coach O. The only thing going against us is Bama has been in is ear for a long time and he was listening. I don't think we were an option when Kiffy was here

From a very close source: Stone loves Tennessee. Let's all make it easy for him to join the team: the Vol Nation will always be behind you if you play for us, while you'll just be another body at Bama.

If we could get Robinson as well, along with Glass (IMO, he's a Vol if we offer), that would be a very nice recovery for all the linemen we are losing.

Played against this kid his sophomore year in the state championship game. hes an absolute beast. I dont care if he got dominated by jaq smith when they played this year. Heistand will coach him and JJ to be the anchors of the o-line. I just hope hes not like Chaz green and he actually goes somewhere he can get some playin time.. because lord knows he will here.

Stone likes UT and Bama both. He and his guardian aunts like Saban and Pendry (UA OL coach) a lot, but apparently now like Dooley a lot too for the same reasons -- good character. One of his guardian aunts has very much wanted him to go to Bama for a while, but the other one says it's totally his decision. James Stone grew up a UT fan, but the Lil Lane/Ogre circus was a show stopper. Stone most likely would've landed at Bama if not for UTs coaching change.

All of that said, I think UT will get James Stone now.

Interestingly, CLK's/CEO's character & negative recruiting tactics worked to turn Juwan James from Bama to UT, but backfired in recruiting Stone. If Jawuan hadn't been an EE, UT probably would've lost him when CLK bolted, but now that he's gone UT will likely get Stone too. So, ironically the timing of CLK's departure could not have worked out any better in terms of helping UT pull both of these recruits away from Bama.

Are you implying Saban is a good character guy? I think we can all agree he is a great coach, but come on...

Juwann & Stone might see some PT but I cant say we pencil them in as starters straight from jump
