'10 WA QB Jake Heaps

he is my #1 as well. I just feel he has the most accurate arm on all passes whether it is a screen, 10yd,15 yd, or deep ball. I am still suprised we didnt offer Nick Montana. We must feel really well about Heaps.

Ive watched some of nicks highlights and hes nothing special . JMO though

I still like Jake Heaps a little bit better than Bell. He just looks more like a QB that can come in and have instant success, which is what we need. Bell does have more upside though and we probably have a better shot at Heaps anyway.

Jake Heaps was in knoxville this past monday and tuesday. He and his family loved it. He is not going on his mormon mission.:pepper: So hopefully Jake Heaps will be weaing the orange in the future!

Where did you hear that?
FWIW, I just heard the same thing from Bourbon's dad. Heaps is looking at his college as a business decision to get him to the NFL.

"If Jake committed to Washington, it will change things, because having a top quarterback in the nation throwing to you is a big deal," expressed Kearse. "I think if he were to commit, I'd probably commit along with him." From WR Jamaal Kearse

just curious, what makes everyone think Heaps will go to UW?

his parents' home is about 30 mins from campus. he grew up a Huskies fan. he could be a part of the rebirth/reconstruction of the program. if he committed, it'd essentially guarantee that several other prospects in the northwest would also go to UW. he is a package deal. he would get O-lineman and WR's to commit to UW immediately.

thanks:hi:

Washington or UT. Huskie or Smokey. Come on Jake, you really don't have to think too hard about the choice.

He is a dual threat QB.

I would say that about sums it up for the UDUB argument.

UT would need to do same with a top QB prospect to get things rolling for 2010 as well.

He has changed his top 10 a bit because of some recent offers:

(Alphabetical of course)
1. Alabama
2. BYU
3. California
4. Florida State
5. Georgia
6. LSU
7. Notre Dame
8. Oklahoma
9. Tennessee
10. Washington

Here's the article: Scout.com: No. 24 alters Heaps' Top-10

He talks about his most recent offer from Oklahoma.

uggh...I am getting this quesy feeling in my stomach that we may not be in good shape for any of the elite QB's this year....or maybe it was just the donuts from this morning! And no I am not Phil.
