'10 WA QB Jake Heaps

More than likely...BUT...At UW will he have good receivers to throw to?...Will he have players like Bryce Brown and David Oku to throw to in the flat?...I think personal might play a big part of it...not to mention, How many times have you heard Sarkasian's name even mentioned this year?...Very little...Kiffin and crew are EVERYWHERE!

Don't forget that the only place where UW does have good talent is at QB. Jake Locker anyone?

ESPN does not rate Rod Wilks, Rod Wilks ranks ESPN and from what I hear, they better get their *^%$# together.

Wishful thinking jazvol. Washington is in his backyard and his offering a similar offense.

Except Washington is completely bare on talent except at QB, and is pretty much doomed to the bottom half of the Pac 10, while we have great skill position players around him and could be in the top half of the SEC.

What is our next option after Heaps?
It sounds like if we miss on him we might be in hot water!

unless you are Lane Kiffin and you know Marlon Brown is a dud and Bryce Brown is a stud.

100% agree with you. and UDUB already has a stud in locker. so why would he want to go there and sit behind him and lose to usc every year and never make a bcs bowl when he could come to UT and most likely start right away and compete for championships and get noticed by nfl scouts a lot more playing in the sec.

You can't just look at the recruits we stole. You also have to look at the ones that got away. I completely agree though that Kiff and Co. can recruit.

We won't see the full potential of this coaching staff until they get a few years to develop stronger relationships with the recruits. It also can't help that Kiffin hasn't coached a game yet.

IMO it's time to dub eb_for_heisman tafka. footballvol isn't really that annoying anymore.

Didn't the Vols land that Bryce Brown guy? Nu'Keese? Teague?

I'd figure Jeron Stokes is an afterthought now...

The Marlon Brown signing still hurts, however.

There is no possible way to argue against the fact that BB, JJ, and nuke were huge signings. However, you can't ignore the ones that got away. DT Shackelford, Marlon Brown, and Je'ron Stokes.
