Uh dude, Washington is one of the most tradition rich schools in the country...They are in the top 25 most winningest schools...In fact let me look it up for You. Yep, Washington is ranked #21 in all time wins..653 wins and 398 losses and 50 ties....They are 4 spots above Florida who just crept into the top 25...Here's the page to see for yourself. Division I-A All-Time Wins

I don't know why everyone is so negative about us getting Heaps. Sure he has said some great things about Washington, but he talks about all of his top 5 (and every other school) like they are his leader. He hypes up every school. I comes off in his interviews like he is very football smart and wants to make the best decision for his career. TN would be the best choice for this kid IMO. I think in the end Jake will be a vol.

Please, school me about that winning tradition for the past 20 yrs or so!!! :lolabove:...not real concerned about their record before helmets were worn :)

Give us the facts...a side by side comparison that equates UW's W/L record and PAC 10 titles, NC's, Bowl game appearances and wins, number of coaching changes, etc. compared to UT's...all in the past 25yrs. Lay it on us, Professor!

Five Pac 10 titles in the last twenty years. Someone from Washington or the west coast probably has a view different than ours. I think they suck and there is only one good team in the Pac 10 but we keep losing to these randoms when we go west to play.

correct me if I'm wrong tennacious but no one is comparing UT to UDub. Just saying washington does have some history of success. I'm glad your high on UT but you don't have to be negative to everyone else (referring to schools) outside the SEC

Washington used to be a very legit program. They were the only team that beat Miami in the early 2000's when people were angry that Miami got screwed; Washington only lost one game that year. I believe they also won a National title in the early 90's but could be wrong (too lazy to look up).

UW has had some success. If I was to compare them to an SEC team, they would be comparable to Arkansas. Good, not great, respectable history

-Jake Heaps was 100 times better than what he was at the Army Combine. He looked like the type of quarterback today that has gotten all the national offers that he had gotten. He talked about how important it was for him to come back and show that the Army Combine was more an exception, than the norm.
