It comes down to who pulls the trigger first...but honestly, with both of them at camp, if Legeaux commits first and Scroggins still wants to sign after his camp, how can CLK turn him down?
If it presses Stephens to transfer out, like Coleman...I think CLK is perfectly fine with that. He probably wants to get his own guys in here yesterday.

It just seems like it since you have 2 of our offers actually going to camp. I think it's more of a matter of UT running out of spots before he's ready to decide than an issue of his level of interest

I believe Legeaux will commit at camp and Scroggins wont decide until after his USC camp. I think Scroggins stays out west though.

Disappointed in what? Have you seen video of these guys? They both appear solid to me. I would say yes, it would be a disappointment not to be able to say UT got the top 1 or 2 ranked QB from a name recognition standpoint (and by that I mean for recruiting other top players standpoint, not the fans) but there are other talented QB's out there that arent named Heaps or Scroggins IMO.

This seems to be the plan to me. Scroggins will committ to UT after Munchie and after he camps @ USC. Scroggins will not go and sit on the bench @ USC for 3 years!

What about Brennan, Nottingham, and Hirschman? If Heaps is gone, why not give the offer to one of those three when he commits?

Besides probably being better than alot of the high school QBs, Lamaison will be able to come in and help this year. He will have a year to learn the system and in terms of being a starter, will be MUCH further ahead than any freshmen in this class. Hopefully, Lamaison will RS this year and be able to compete, as a sophmore, with Stephens for the starting job in 2010. Munchie would be a great project guy to have in this scenario. He could RS as freshman, and then take over the job as a junior when Lamaison leaves. Munchie has a huge upside and giving him 3 years to mature physically, work on his mechanics, and learn the system would be huge...

Hirschman and Brennan are supposed to be at camp next week. I would assume their offers will depend on what they do at camp. I have not heard anything about the Vols being interested in Nottingham up to this point....

Disappointed by the staff not getting the best guys they wanted. I'm not worried about Lamaison, but I do think it would make a great statement if we get one of our top 3 QBs this year. We didn't get Bell, it looks like we won't get Heaps, and we might miss on Scroggins and/or Hendrix too. To me that would be disappointing in that the staff wouldn't get who they wanted. JMO. That being said, I have no doubt that there are other talented QBs in this class that can compete for us and certainly upgrade our talent at the position.

Was never considering us and we never went after him. Was pointless to.
