'10 WA QB Jake Heaps

Those things are amazing, and now I'm craving one. Oh right, on topic.... Jake Heaps will be playing against pastry teams in the MWC.

Sabanego has a nice ring to it...

That's great. I like it. That's the new buzzword for anyone that wants to gloat when their recruit prediction becomes a reality.... and for coaches that threaten to pull a scholly if a recruit takes additional visits after committing.

As said before, BYU sends as many QBs to the league as anybody, and he won't risk getting destroyed by SEC defenses, plus they're gonna be understanding of his mission. He wasn't coming here anyway, I'd rather lose him to BYU.

I see your point.....the only QB I can remember that was good in the League from BYU was Steve Young. Guess you could say the same about us and Peyton though. Ah well. Hopefully we pick us up a commit from a top QB in the next few weeks so some OL and WR's start pulling the trigger too.

All I was doing was pimping the Nation. Don't know what you're so worked up about.

Religion obviously played a big part in this decision. Two or three years from now he'll take his mission trip and we'll have already forgotten who he is.

He is going to be on the Versus Network like white on rice. After I've watched every single mildly interesting game of the day, I'm clicking over to VS to see Jake and the Cougs smoke the San Diego State Aztecs.

One other that was pretty good, Jim McMahon and two that were ok, Marc Wilson and Ty Detmer. But I don't how McMahon stayed in with their strick codes.

Not trying to be smart butt but what are you talking about?

intr.v. smart·ed, smart·ing, smarts
1.
a. To cause a sharp, usually superficial, stinging pain: The slap delivered to my face smarted.
b. To be the location of such a pain: The incision on my leg smarts.
c. To feel such a pain.
2. To suffer acutely, as from mental distress, wounded feelings, or remorse: "No creature smarts so little as a fool" Alexander Pope.
3. To suffer or pay a heavy penalty

The #1 QB and #1 player in Washington, longtime Udub fan, spurns instate school for BYU. Sark's rebuilding project takes a hit. Now does it make sense?

Sorry maybe I should broaden my vocabulary a little. I should have looked it up in my Funk and Wagnalls.:)
