10 year show cause/NCAA, Tyndall discussion (merged)

Gonna make it real simple for you. When Hart went to the NCAA and they gave him false info that resulted in his firing and then in effect ended his career they violated the Sherman Antitrust Act. Had they not ended his career they could probably slide. Humongous difference.

Going to make it simple for you.....that is 100% conjecture and fantasy on your part.

End of story.

Apparently its impossible for you to comprehend. Hes a cheat and a liar. Hopefully the NCAA ups it a 20 year show cause and that POS never coaches any program again. No surprise that you back a liar and cheat though.

Did they ever decide if the NCAA was a monopoly or a monopsony.

I'm not seeing how handing down punishment to a coach that broke the established rules has anything to do with anti-competitiveness.

If this appeal fails (which it will), and if a court says "get the hell out of here with this garbage and quit wasting my time", will you drop this crap?

Um...No.

Not a chance, black and white, buddy! You are so silly!
In order to prevail under a Section 1 claim under the Sherman Act, Tyndall must prove three elements to demonstrate that the NCAA violated Section 1 of the Sherman Antitrust Act. First, Tyndall must demonstrate that an agreement exists between independent economic entities in the form of a contract, combination, or conspiracy. (CHECK!) Next, Tyndall must demonstrate that the agreement resulted in an unreasonable restraint on trade in a relevant market. (CHECK!) Finally, Tyndall must demonstrate that the agreement has resulted in an antitrust injury implicating interstate commerce (coaching career for those who don't understand). (CHECK!)

Tyndall violated/voided his contract breaking the rules of it. No way around that.

He can still coach in other organizations, just not the NCAA. So, no, there's not an unreasonable restriction.

You're reaching at straws that aren't there. But keep slurping it up. It's hysterical how pathetic you love a mediocre coach who does nothing but get in trouble with his organization.

I leave it to the attorney not you. I know you have not figured it out yet. It's a quote not my opinion. I won't discuss this with someone so uninformed they can't comprehend what is said to them. Most folks know this is a big deal. As far as media, how many heard about the NCAA getting stiffed for $42 million in the O'Bannon case before I referenced it, huh? Wouldn't you think that would be big news? Wouldn't you think it would be big news when the United States Supreme Court rejected the appeal of the mighty NCAA?

Nobody is using Tyndall's likeness (which is what O'Bannon was arguing), Tyndall was getting paid until he violated his contract/agreement to abide by the NCAA rules, and he can still coach in any other basketball market minus the NCAA (so he's still able to work). And he was getting paid, not giving free labor and his likeness without being compensated. He's got nothing.

Which explains why this is the only place I've heard about it, by a guy that is making Alex Jones seem credible.

Makes perfect sense.

Wow, it's the "Three Amigos" all in a row. I meant "Three Stooges". Told you CBS would fire for effect at the beginning of basketball season. That's the way it's done in the media! They also could wait for the NCAA to come out of it's shell and to find out if the case is going to federal court. Good depiction of them! Thanks for showing they are turtle soup.

My phone just keeps blowing up from all these updates from Tyndall taking on the man! It won't stop buzzing!
Never fear, I'll be the first to let you know! Normally, if there is no change, the appeals committee which consists of four lawyers responds immediately. Been over a month since the rebuttal to the NCAA response to the appeal brief was filed. Good sign for the Tyndall team.

You mean, you'll be the ONLY person to let me know.

And you're still clinging to that "haven't heard anything in a while, that's a good sign" crap? How's that worked out for you so far?

Okay SD. Who do you know? Honest question not being a smart a$$. I know people too that have ties to the University and they are glad DT is gone said we were heading for a dumpster fire and the AA was already in early stages of monitering us over the Chris Clarke recruitment.

He's been asked for a source for all the stuff he's been spouting and months later he still hasn't provided, he just keeps "quoting" it.

So basically, don't hold your breath that he's going to tell you anything other than repeat over and over how he's "in the know". Oh and tell you your "sources" are all liars or they drank the NCAA Kool-Aid.
