This kid will end up being a Vol. He sees the writing on the wall in the fact alabamas last 2 defensive back classes have been loaded.

This usually has very little impact on where a recruit goes. Add this to the fact that he was a Bama fan growing up (as bama fan said) and theres no way he goes elsewhere just because they recruit well at his position.

Yeah man Im usually on top of my stuff but yesterday I was just waking up and personally have no idea what I was thinking. Rod woodson for sure aint coming here. As for Chris Jones we are in a good position. Bama/UT battle I agree. I would like to see if anything comes from the rumors though about d woodson jr and d collins (current bama commits). i like woodson jr way more than collins though.

Seems with each article I read our position improves with this guy. Don't think at this point that Auburn or Florida appear to be a threat. Alabama has pulled some strong DB classes in recent years. One of our freshman LB's was his high school teammate and good friend last year. Visiting for the Oregon game along with Avery Walls. Probably only 2 or 3 slots left for DB's. Do Countess and King get left behind?

absolutely no way King gets left behind.

I think we have 3 spots left for DBs. Walls, Countess, and King would be the perfect guys imo.

King is my fav recruit for this cycle now, I'm changing from Clear. I'm gonna go check out a few of his games this year. If Anyone is close to Brentwood, and want to tag along, let me know.

How would you not take Christian Jones? The kid is no scrub. You could have Randolph, Walls, Martin at safety and Jones, Countess, King at CB.

They'll take 8 DBs this year if they are all quality. And Jones is a great CB prospect. He'll be great at the college level.

I graduated from Brentwood, we had a good rivalry, albeit a lopsided one. I'll holler at you when I figure out which games I'm going to attend. GO VOLS, and BRUINS!

I can believe that, like I said a few posts back I really believe this is a UT/Bama battle. Bama has took alot of quality DB's the past few years. If Jones really wants a shot at early PT then his best choice would be at UT.

Yeah it's a Bama/UT battle. It should come down to signing day. But this loves to play the game. And if he does like I think he'll do then we have a great shot a him.

If he carries this to NSD do you think he is good enough for Bama to hold a spot for him or do you think they will fill up before NSD?

i think they want him but if he takes it all the way to signing day they will just take someone else. unfortunately they are in the position where if they want someone they will be able to make a push and pick them up.

Last time i heard playing time was #1 with him. That might change as we get closer to NSD.

The kid is good enough but Saban recruits DBs better than anyone so he probably won't have to wait on him if he doesn't want to commit early. He'll go and find somebody that is close enough to his skill level and get him to commit. Just how Saban does things.

Just saying, given Bama's depth at DB, and they will probably get HCD, Jones should come here. He has a lot to offer for us at CB.
