Think this kid will play DB? or What?
"Well, it was great," Washington said. "It wasn't like any other visit I've been on. I would rank LSU as one of my highest (schools) right now.
"I got there around 12 and they gave me a tour of some of the campus. Before the game I got to go on the field and see some of the players down there. Then I just watched the game with my family. I talked to coach (John) Chavis) after the game and that was really it.
"It was way different than I thought it would be. I was kind of in shock. I enjoyed it a lot."
Various prospects have offered their thoughts on the Tigers' performance and their reactions have varied. What did Washington think?
"The defense played good," he explained. "They just needed a little bit more offense. They could have won, definitely."
Have a cousin that came in for Mother's day today, he live's in Jackson. Said him & J. Washington are real good friend's was telling me they go to Church together & hang out all the time. Once i heard that i tried to get as much info as i could out of him, so here it is.
Say's Washington is one of the most well mannered, down to earth, outgoing kid's you will meet. Said that he make's excellent grade's & has a smart head on his shoulder's.
I asked him what school's was he most interested in & he told me that he was UGA all the way, said he loved Mark Richt. Said that he had some interest in Florida, but their was no way he didnt go to UGA. Also said Tennessee has no chance of landing him.
Take it for what it's worth but that's what i was told.
Georgia was the first offer for the record.
Washington's parents are from the Los Angeles area, so expect USC to be a player.
 Wow... that's a very small region. I've actually got a friend that went to Boyd-Buchanan. But yeah... 1A in Tennessee is very weak. That's why I have concerns that Jabriel wouldn't cut it in the SEC.
trinity actually played the #1 strength of schedule in the state in 2A this year.
Usj (d2)- state runner up (14-21)
Manassas (3a) 9-1 regular season i believe (21-40)
JCS (d2)- 4-6 (24-19)
Middleton- atrocious idk the record lol (42-6)
Union City (1a)- state champions (31-21)
Adamsville (2a)- 9-1 regular season (10-12)
McKenzie (2a)- 9-1 reg. season, semi finals (10-20)
Riverside (2a)- 8-2 reg. season (don't remember but an L)
Bruceton- awful (40-6)
Scotts Hill- awful (42-0)
Not a bad schedule
Sure it's not a bad schedule... for Tennessee. Don't get me wrong. I'm a west Tennessee native, and I'm a JCS alum and former football player. He's gotten a lot better than the time he came in to replace Hewitt Tomlin three years ago. I've seen him play and he's made a couple of plays that wowed me. BUT, opposed to Texas and Florida the talent pool is shallower. I could possibly see him contributing in the SEC but for him to come in and start as a Freshman or even after a redshirt year... Not likely.
