'11 FL DE James Wilder Jr.

per Michael Langston of FLA varsity....

According to his sources, James Wilder is down to 2 schools...UGA and FSU, with FSU in the lead.....

Gran is doing it again IF this is true. wow, just wow.

I am still skeptical, but IF this is accurate, I know some gators just crapped their jorts.

go to fsu!!

would love to see luc,c.jones and wilder at linebacker

bridewater better start getting meaty

Common misconception is that Gran is doing this.
It's actually coach Hudson

That FSU staff is incredible at recruiting and Jimbo did a great Job hiring his staff, from Coley to Craig to Haggins

Yeah, but he's not hurting their efforts. If they keep those recruiters in place for a solid 4 years, and they can coach those guys up, FSU will be making noise with the Florida's and Alabama's of the world. This would be good for us since it would be detrimental to Florida's well being.

If FSU can pull Wilder, that would already be detrimental to FLA. He is a big time playmaker, especially on defense.

If FSU gets Wilder and somehow Tony Steward, their linebackers will be RIDICULOUS (assuming wilder shifts to defense).

they are gonna be knocking heads off!!

but i think steward is going to clemson

Yea it be sooo scary. I agree Steward will probably end up at Clemson but if anybody else has a chance, it is the 'Noles. I really hope they both end up at FSU. Jones, Luc, Steward, and Wilder. WOW

Wasn't Bradham the one that recently got arrested and could get dismissed from the team?

Where are the gators on here that told me I was wrong when I said UF is in trouble now that FSU and Miami are back in it and fighting for the same kids. They told me they would still get who they wanted instate, but it does not look like it. How the mighty are starting to slide.

I just hope if UF gets to the seccg that it is not us because I would hate for CUM to have another heart attack and retire again.:)

We are certainly not in as good of shape for Wilder as we were a month ago, but in the end I still think he becomes a gator IMO.

I want another crack at y'all as well in the SECCG and see what happens. I think Meyer might have a totally different gameplan and maybe actually run the ball some. He was totally outcoached last year.

TW,I'm the Gator fan that stated it and I'm standing behind it....... if you look at UF last few classes it would be hard to sell kids on anything besides playing for a winning team. Not playing time like FSU or Canes. If Fla was like the state of Ala we wouldn't have trouble getting everyone like Bama has over the last few years instate. We'll get two good back in this class, two Top 5 LB, add depth to the OL/WR and sign a great secondary...with or w/o JWJ Florida will have a better class top to bottom than FSU and Canes. Meyer will make up any misses with top talent from Cali, NE and looks like Texas this year.

Lastest update from gatorland is it's really down to UGA and FSU from one of our more legit insiders. Think will have some news after this visit to UGA this weekend. Weiner strikes again! lol

Who from Texas? BTW I still think JW to UF, but UF is batting for recruits instate harder then the past years,

Florida is having battle more with FSU than they have had to in the past two years but the competition is still right about where it was in 2007 when Florida still hauled in a #1 class. Not so much with Miami. Shannon has been pretty much content to stick mostly to Miami-Dade regardless of the ebb and flow of talent.

Florida State will have to actually win games to maintain that because they are selling Jimbo, someone who has never been a HC in his life, is going restore FSU to 90s glory.

the big 3 will always recruit well..UF is on top right now so they gonna get who they want especially in northern and central florida..just alot of talent to go around
