we have a chance because of new hope. he is losing interest in the noles and is looking at his options. I dont believe we have any intentions of letting him play RB. we will give him a shot at it, but once he sees his best position to make it to the NFL is at LB, he will make the switch.

I didn't mean you look at the guy standing around and think, "Oh, he looks tough". I meant if you watch film on him you can see he plays tough. Some of the stuff you have to explain on here just because people want to play games with semantics is just sad.

I don't think anyone wants him at RB anyway. I just posted that video because someone said he runs soft, and doesn't play with heart. The video clearly shows otherwise. Defense is where his future is though.

He is definitely a "Thunder" type of back. I just find it very tough for us to get him away from Gran and Jimbo. Just even taking a visit here would be a huge pull for us.

Ambles was recruiting for UT last year. That worked out well for us.

This has probably been discussed, but is Wilder Jr set on playing RB? Is recruiting him to play LB a deal breaker?

Wishful thinking, but what if we could pull him and have him play LB where, IMO, he seems best suited to play and we land Dawson as well. Add those 2 guys in with AJ Johnson and that is a beast LB class. Maybe our best ever.

If I could wish for anyone I think I'd go with Anthony Johnson. And to think, at one point we had him....very briefly

I posted yesterday that Wilder was the mystery 5 star on campus that RoganBerry was talking about. He was in Knoxville that weekend and maybe someone from Florida (FLVol77?) can reach out and try to get confirmation from down there.

The staff is offering him a spot as a running back which he is very interested in, and we have stayed on him hard. I think Florida St beating Florida certainly helped their case (despite that Va Tech game) and it's going to be a very, very hard pull but just wanted to let you guys know we're still coming and we've seen what Dooley can do at an in home.
