If King and Moore are 6'2"ish then Paul is 6'0"...plenty tall enough and can get to 225 real easy

VolQuest. Yesterday, Hubbs said something along the lines of "Paul really likes UT but I'm not sure how much they like him back".

Today a poster said he's heard that UT backed off of him because he was a lot smaller than advertised once he got on campus.

We're gonna regret this if true...

Well, I think it's good that some of you are skeptical about what Hubbs says. That just goes to show you that his word is not the be all end all of football. It's not good for one person to have that much influence over you. I like hearing his recruting info just as much as you guys, but it's still ok to form our own opinions.

Hubbs could be right on this one, in that pic it looks like Paul is no more than 5'11 200-2005. No way he is 6'1 220.

getting caught up with this 5'10' OR 6' stuff is about like worrying about how many stars.

Being a Steeler fan I would let Troy Polamalu play OLB and he is 5'10" and 205 lbs.

Just sayin'

Isn't Moore 6'1" 205. Paul is standing right next him. Paul is not much shorter than Moore (at least not in that pic). Scout has Paul at 6' which sounds correct. Difficult to verify weight by a picture though.

I still think we should take him, but if the staff is truly trying to get bigger all over the defense then I would'nt be surprised if they passed. I understand that Wylie can put some weight on him too though.

T. Pol would get distroyed as an every down outside LB in the NFL...jmo

Was it Paul that said the coaches told him he could come in right away and play a lot and be a leader on defense?

Jon Beason was 6' 205 in HS.

You wanna pass on that type of football player...

here's what I think is going on... Paul really likes the Vols... The Vols really like Paul... but, we are getting very short on scholarships, so the staff first wants to analyze our chances of landing someone like Dawson or Wilder. In a couple of days the staff might feel that the odds aren't in our favor of landing one of those big fish, so that's when we officially accept Paul's commitment. jmo, but the stuff is being studious and thorough!

Yea in a post earlier it said ... Paul stated that Dooley said he could come in as a freshman and be a leader on the defense ? Someone lying lol

That's what I thought. So it is safe to say that some posters here think our coach, who we all call high class, is going to lie to a kid just to be safe in case we don't land a higher prospect? If Dooley told him those things there is no doubt in my mind that we want Paul and he will be a Vol.
