11 FL OT Zach DeBell (UGA Commit)

i know thats a compliment but if we are a four star then what is a five star? It was my impression that we had the best of the best facilities.

After getting four-star offensive tackle Alan Posey of Athens, Ga., in May, Derek Dooley knew he needed to set about finding a bookend to go along with him.

Tennessee is in desperate need of offensive line help for the future, so the Vols have to be happy to hear they made a strong impression on three-star OT Zach DeBell during his weekend visit.

DeBell, of Tarpon Springs, Fla., told ESPN.com recruiting blogger Corey Long he's added Tennessee to Ole Miss, Notre Dame, UCLA, South Carolina and Georgia on his short list of schools. He'd like to visit UCLA and Notre Dame again before making his decision around mid-season. Another visit to Ole Miss could be a possibility, as well.

Dooley is going to strike while he can, but there's no doubt he'd rather be hearing from the top recruit in his own state, No. 5 OT Antonio Richardson. But the four-star from Nashville is being courted heavily by Nick Saban, and the decision could come down to the wire.

I think the UT facilities are top notch as a whole but I think there were some areas that weren't like the weight room. UT is taking care of those issues though from what I read.

I get newsletters all the time from UT and its always about alumni donations and what not. Those proceeds seem to always be going to the athletic facilities. Almost every brochure or newsletter has something new about a new building, renovations, etc.

UT has great facilities. Any recruit would be pleased -- another factor that helps us recruit during our "rebuilding" stage.

The campus is nice, but the athletic facilities stand out IMO. College athletes, D1 football players in particular, don't exactly spend that much time in many academic buildings to begin with, regardless of their intelligence and GPA. UT has a library and all sorts of resources solely dedicated to the athletes anyways.

I see football players in the library all the time. They also have a specified amount of time to spend in the Thornton Center.

I received an email from a friend at work today with this comparison.... hmmm..... kinda weird.

Rivals weekly whispers today calls him a heavy UGA lean and says he may commit over the week end. Hopefully the writer is getting way ahead of himself.

It would be so awesome if we could keep all our best OL here at home and add this guy...

Richardson, Kerbyson, Crowder, Clear (who will prob end up on OL) and Debell would be a sweet OL class

UGA fans have considered him a lock for a good while now. Hopefully they are wrong.
