'11 FL RB Andrew Buie

Yeah, now they hang with mid and west tenn teams quite well. A couple of teams that I've noticed THE BIGGEST drops in are Oak Ridge, Morristown East and West, and Jeff County. The Morristown Teams have PLENTY of talent each yr, they just CONTINUE to work by the "1920 good ole' boy system". They won't go out and hire good coaches, they keep letting the local "good ole boy" coach their teams. TRAGIC!

When I played, those teams were mostly down too. They would have maybe one good year but the rest average. We played Morristown West, lost a close one. Jeff County was 5A. Those days we played in one of the toughest 4a regions in the state, I want to think 3 4A. We had Halls, Powell, Maryville, Central, Knox West, Anderson County in our region. We got slaughtered.

I'm not comparing Young to these guys as players by any means, but I can't find a guy who has posted a faster shuttle time than him.

Devrin Young- 4.03
Chris Rainey- 4.03
Brandon James- 4.12
Jeff Demps- 4.15
Jahvid Best- 4.17 (college)
C.J. Spiller- 4.18 (college)
Noel Devine- 4.19

Not posting this for any kind of "you're wrong" BS, only because I was looking of King this morning after the arrest reports came out, saw his shuttle time on his Rivals page, and remembered this thread. This has to be completely inflated, right? With all those cats you listed above, no way King turned in a legit 3.88.

Andrew Buie is a standout RB prospect from Trinity Christian.

Andrew Buie was the MVP of the state championship game last Friday night.
"Now that I have the first thing checked off on my list, win a championship, now I am moving onto my new family. This is really big for the guys in my graduating class especially you know we made our own pact to win state. This is something that will prepare me for life. A thousand words don’t describe this. For the rest of my life I can look back at the year book and be the 2010 state champs."

Buie, 5-11 and 190, talked about the recruiting process.

"The next week I am going to jump into recruiting and map it all out and see where I want to go. I will probably take a visit to Auburn, Louisville and probably get up to South Carolina. The other two are still undecided at this time."

Buie liked Florida growing up and has a lot of interest in Auburn.

"I haven’t heard from Florida recently, I am just going with the schools that are recruiting me. Auburn has been recruiting me head first, calling me every week and how I will be incorporated in their offense."

He'll end up @ the barn or Columbia.

Barn! He would already be committed if not for the investigation. He will check his other options as more of a backup plan in case (or when) things hit the fan.

Chris Nee wrote that Buie is vising Louisville on the 14th and Auburn on the 21st. He also mentions Tennessee:

"I maybe will commit but I will probably take another visit after them," Buie said. "I want to see somewhere like Tennessee, Arkansas, or Ole Miss - one of the three."

per Jamie Newberg of ESPN recruiting, Jax [Fla.] Trinity Christian RB Andrew Buie will be visiting Tennessee on 1/28.

According to his rivals page he is high on WV, AU, and UT and visiting all 3 in the coming weeks. It seems AU is in a numbers crunch and I think we can beat out WV...

we are getting a lot of possibilities and when it comes down to it i think we can CHOOSE which one we want instead of taking the only one available

milton, pickett are gonna put tennessee at the top of the list once they get an offer. lane is coming to visit and possibly morris. we will be close to the top of their lists. i see by the time NSD comes around, we will be #1 for at least 3 of the RBs we are after now

Yeah, it's really going to be interesting to see how these spots are filled. However, glad we're getting a visit from this guy. Good back.

By FAR the fastest film of a RB I have seen. His 1st 4 runs on his rivals video are ridiculous. SIGN HIM UP
