Its a family issue, some of his family is all in on him going to Clemson since he has been committed for quite a while. So things didn't necessarily go well when he told them he wanted to visit Tennessee. So basically, if Dooley can get his family to buy into Tennessee during the visit. Then I like our chances here.

I agree that the staff is committed to finding a running back, but I don't think they would be talking to Pickett if they felt they were getting a commit from two other targets.

I agree to an extent. However, I think CDD and the staff are making sure they have their options open. We'd crucify them after NSD if we found out they put all their stock in 2 or maybe 3 guys and we got none of them. I think we're in better shape than ever with Lane now that he decommitted from Clemson, and Milton, etc., are back-up plans.

The staff loves Smith. He has stuck with us all this time. They wouldn't screw the kid over this late in the game. If you do cut a kid loose this late you completely burn the bridge with that school in the future and get a bad rep in that region.

I believe we get Lane this weekend. But if for some reason we don't we still have Buie visiting the weekend of the 28th and I think we would get him. With Oku being gone now it makes early PT an even larger pitch and I just feel like Lane or Buie one would definitely jump on the opportunity. I think it'll be Lane this weekend, but if not I wouldn't be disappointed with Buie at all.

Yeah I do. I'm not sure that he will come out with it this weekend, but I think we secure his services this weekend. He might wait to publicly announce it on NSD, but either way I believe commits this weekend.

We're not gonna take 3 backs in one class. All I was trying to say was if Buie and Lane both wanted to be here, I would take Buie over Smith. I honestly dont see Buie coming here though, Lane is our best opportunity at landing a big time back back. If we were to tell anyone to looks elsewhere it would be Carson imo, but I dont see that happening.

If Buie and Lane wanted to come, then I take Buie over Young. Buie can be a returner and be that speed back that's what we were recruiting Buie for earlier in the process.
