But did Fortenberry actually say/type out that we wouldn't take a commitment from Buie?
So you are suggesting that we would take a commitment from the 3rd RB on our board over two guys who we are in the top 2-3 for? I'm sure you could use some common sense to get to your answer. If we strike out on Lane and Milton then we possibly could, but more than likely at this point we get Lane.
You are the one that said we wouldn't take a commitment from Buie and then implied that Fortenberry said we wouldn't. I'm just asking you if he actually said that.
Let me slow it down for you.
Lane and Milton are our top 2 RBs on the board.
We are in the thick of it for both RBs.
We like both RBs better.
Since we are in the thick of it for both RBs, we will not be taking Buie's commitment right now.
If we strike out on both of them, we might take Buie's commitment. But the staff has shown that they aren't as high on Buie as many on here think they should be. LV in the DY thread said that we essentially took DY over Buie.
Does this help?
I really don't know what the staff sees with Milton. Buie is gonna be a player wherever he goes. He should be above Milton imo.

It's ok I got this. "No Fortenberry never said we wouldn't take a commitment from Buie". That is the phrase I believe you are looking for.
in other words, we might not have a shot with him. That doesn't imply that we wouldn't take a commit from him now does it? Nice strategy, if you can't definitively prove your statement then try to insult my intelligence. No I said that Fortenberry told us how our recruiting board is shaping up. As a matter of fact, he didn't even mention Buie as I just went and looked. He said Lane, Milton, then Romar, and whoever else.
The phrase I am looking for is you obviously have no clue in what you are talking about in looking at your previous posts.
Yup, let's take Andrew Buie, a guy with offers from: West Virginia, Arkansas, Michigan, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, and South Carolina, and was recruited by Georgia and Florida over Devrin Young who had one offer from a BCS school in Stanford. I like where this is going. Not too mention Buie is 5'9/190 while Young is 5'7/160.
