Unless they are 100% sure Lane or Morris is coming here, then...yes.

Edit: If the staff feels Buie can contribute immediately and become a good back.

I don't really care about ratings. They are nice and the top 10 give you an idea about how's on top of recruiting, I find offer lists much, much more important. And there is no denying Buie's offer list>>>>>>>>Young's offer list.

Nope, they have never recruited Buie hard. And it's not Morris it's Milton. And we don't even know if Morris or Buie is rated higher on the board, all we know is the coaches like Lane and then Milton and then the rest are where they may fall. If we don't get Lane or Milton, I seriously doubt we get another RB with the other options on the board.

I don't actually believe this.... Options change in a blink of an eye with recruiting classes filling up everywhere.... I doubt the staff tells all the pay sites about every recruit they are recruiting. Some of those kids they are recruiting could possibly be committed to another school and they got to keep it low key. That board you see is only what the staff wants public.

What is there not to believe? We are recruiting Lane and Milton more heavily. That in itself speaks more volumes than your supposed theory of the pay sites not knowing.

Ratings don't matter to me, but people act as though our coaching staff is the only one who thinks DY is better. There's at least one other scouting service that says otherwise.

The pay sites don't know everything. They are fed the information the staff allows to be public.

I guess Buie also doesn't know his own recruitment considering his next interview after DY's commitment had him cutting TN from his last after having us there and mentioning two other schools (Louisville being one) recruiting him the hardest. And then again FLA Varsity, I believe it was had him interviewed and once again no mention. But yes, it sounds to me like this staff recruited him hard after the DY commitment.

Okay. Maybe the staff decided to recruit him again. Maybe with Oku gone and something on Milton/Lane they feel they need to see if they are back in the game. Who knows?

You know a player does not have to stay at the position a recruiting service has listed by his name. ie..james wilder jr. Most players are running backs on there respective teams bc they are the best player and there coach wants to get them the ball. JMO.

I think that the staff is evaluating A LOT of RBs right now to find the best possible option for us and the offense we run. No one has seen the prospect board and that includes PF. They are going by what they have been told by sources. Things have been changing quickly. For example look at Marlin Lane. Three days ago I thought we had little chance to sign him and now we have him on campus and he's a free agent again... NO ONE knows except the staff right now and I think they will make a sound decision. That is all, rant over.

Look I don't care what anyone believes one way or the other but we were in on Buie earlier in the year and mentioned in his top schools. When we took DY, we quit recruiting Buie, think whatever you want though. I actually believe this was discussed in the DY thread when we took him because people were pissed we had passed on Buie right when we were looking good with him.

Who did you get your info from? The coaches, the pay sites, or were you in the recruit's home? Just kidding, this post is too logical for some to fully understand.
