Umm...I am not a South Carolina fan, dude. I just live in this dump because I am stationed here. All I am saying is that the people here in SC think Martin has a similar game to Eric Berry. I am not saying he is going to be the next EB.

Good news. But, LSU being in the race kind of worries me. They lost Chad Jones, and they have two returning guys (Loston and Eugene) that will probably start, but they don't have great depth at the position.

I have liked this kid from the start, he's another guy who seems very mature and intelligent. I hope he ends up in Orange after we impress on the visit.

I like our chances over LSU. Take him and Randolph for for '11 and call it a day at the safety position.

His mom is in our corner so we will see how it plays out. He really likes LSU and they have the early lead, but things can change quickly in recruiting. He is buddies with Da'Rick Rogers.

it is ridiculous how many safeties we are in on.

-Avery Walls: we lead(he came close to committing at the spring game)
-Pat Martin: top 2(UT and LSU)
-Brian Randolph: top 2(UT AND GT but many think UT leads)
-Robenson Therezie: top 3-5
-Malcolm Mitchell: top 5
-T.K. Fleming
-Kevin Grooms

Therezie will end up a Cane at the end of the day, sadly (JMO). Mitchell won't end up a Vol. But I see your point, which is a valid one. It's great to see us in on these guys.

Getting 3 of those (Walls, Randolph, Martin) is a ridiculous S class in itself.

We have a very good chance of landing Mitchell, but likely he'll be a WR/Return guy
Grooms is a CB all the way.

If by SC you mean the cocks, then they have a great shot at him if he plans on majoring in Petroleum Distribution.
