You don't think Cross will be good? I think if he consistently runs down hill behind his pads he can surprise some people. Regardless of his ability, Nebraska could still make a bowl game w/out him.

Would be kinda funny if Nebraska decided not to pursue Bourque as hard once they got Cross. Bourque probably wasn't that serious about Nebraska but if true Cross would have ended up helping the school that told him to look elsewhere.

This is one situation that I don't understand. From the links I watched, this guy was a hard nosed runner that was hard for one defender to bring down. Was he asked to go elsewhere thinking we would get Davis? To keep Bullock and Blanc and ask Cross to look elsewhere makes no sense to me.
