Was Cincinnati's leading receiver this year. Still has another year of eligibility. Very good player but I agree with others Patterson is even better than he is. Elite. No way this staff cools on him or backs off him. He's the type of player they desperately need to start competing with the Top 5 schools in this league.

Egg Zack Lee....No disrespect to anyone, but seeing some of the talent that we have right now there is no way we back off. Not being an EE is a disappointment, but his skill set could be put to use at UT.

My question is this, When is a two year player worth burning bridges for? If they blow somebody off on NSD, that is going to be bad for recruiting down the road. I mean, who even knows if CP would stay more than one year? Telling kids to look around now, with a couple months left, is not that bad. Doing it on NSD is going to hurt you.

Actually many highly touted QB prospects leave early these days. Aaron Rodgers, Roethlisberger, Vick, Stafford, Luck, etc.
It just depends on how his jr. season goes.

Were any of those guys red shirt juniors? I think Luck is. I do remember Rodgers leaving early and Vick was a freak Im just saying stayiing for 4 years helps a qb more than any other position.

Thompkins played well even against us. We could've used him this year when Hunter went down. He's a very very good player and would've been nasty as the slot man for us or the No.2 when Hunter went down.

All three are definitely first rounders. They would get drafted in the first if they were eligible this year.

I read the article earlier in the thread and he seems anxious to get to Baton Rouge to check it out.
