not sure of the clibe of competition in ohio but this kid is awesome. i wouldnt be worried about his speed. at 220 the kid can move. he is huge. sorry for being the late one here but i just watched his highlight video and my god this dude is a beast to say the least. he ran up the middle very time and ran through the line and the lb's. cant wait to see this dude in the backfield

I think this might be the argument against his competition.

Geez, I've been saying he's fast enough since the summer. He's fast enough! Eddie George could be clocked with a sundial, and he did pretty O.K.

Hill's high school career certainly had production. He ran for 4,977 yards and 72 touchdowns during his career at Marlington High School in Alliance, northeast of Canton and southeast of Akron. The Dukes are in Ohio's third-largest classification, and Hill split carries in Marlington's shotgun triple-option offense for two seasons with Dymonte Thomas, a junior who already has committed to play at Michigan.

"What his stats could have been," Marlington coach Ed Miley said of Hill. "He's a big, physical guy, but what makes him is his balance. He's got great coordination of balance for a big back."

"His work ethic's great," Miley said. "He's definitely made himself a better football player through the weight room. He's always been a three-sport guy his whole career, which is amazing for the way he looks physically."

Hill will head to UT the first weekend in January.

The highlights are so solid. He is not flashy but he lowers his head, gets yards after contact and was running away from the secondary on some plays. I, for one, am excited
