He has good height and 4.4-4.5 speed. He isn't my favorite commit, but he has at least some potential at safety IMO.

I'm not one for bashing kids, ESP. High school kids but I feel like at safety cool, I'm all aboard with the Blanc.

In fact, I was ALL IN.
Somewhere in this thread there's proof, but

At WR, i feel like there are/were kids who probably have more skill and potential

And I hope he kills it and makes me eat my words.
I don't want to clutter this thread w/ negativity becausei wish or the best, so I will not post anymore on the subject.

To even be a 2 star recruit then you have some skill. Not everyone recruited gets rated.

Wasn't about color, you were the one who instantly referred to him as a typical white possession receiver when you compared him to Shipley.

Maybe next post you can say he will be the next Wes Welker.

Ktown, and 2*that's it right there. His offer to VT was a verbal not a written. Sorry team is no excuse, If he was from out of state maybe I could except it, but since he's local and we pass on Mobley. If he's the best talent in east Tennessee we're in deep doo doo.

So I guess he's better than Heh also right? The guy played in a competitive class in GA. Blanc plays in well TN.

I live in Townsend and drove to watch Central play WB to see our then new commit. I was very impressed with his speed and lateral quickness as well as his ball skills. His vision could use improvement. Looked like a ballhawk on defense. For the record, I think Dooley will right this ship. I like the guy and would like to see him succeed but understand this is a results-based operation. I'm just a regular ol' football fan - not a scout - but I think Blanc will turn out to be pretty good. I also met his future roommate Alden Hill at the Vandy game and he was a very bright kid. I hope these two succeed. Go vols and God bless!

Chris Johnsomn, Mark Ingram, Marcus Drew Jones...all were 2 stars.

This young man has the potential to be a stud. Let's give him a shot.

Rivals doesn't exactly have the star rating down to perfection. While they are getting better, there were several people wrong about our 07 through 09 class.

Mark Ingram was high 3/low 4 star guy. Blanc at WR is just crazy and a waste. Put him at safety where we need some speed and bodies. This is absolutely crazy if he plays offense though. It's been two years straight I think we passed on better guys for local guys.

I think he's being sold as a utility guy, no more, no less. He's a glue guy all classes and programs need.

Maurice Jones Drew was the #1 all purpose back in the nation. He played at De La Salle.

You don't just pick glue guys unless you have to. Z.Rogers is a glue guy that brings what to the team? He's a junior/senior now too so there isn't any argument of he'll progress. I hope D.Young gets his act together. He's been scared since the damn Bama game. Wonder why we didn't look at V.Dallas back there too instead of Poole's slow ass. I hope this guy is good and I really hope he plays defense.

Makes me lean more to Patterson going to UGA. Why will we need more recievers prospects the next couple years? We need more DB prospects hes got prime attributes for a Safety. But I still hope OCI is right!

Football's Skylar McBee. BOOOOM worthy on the pick up. Man, I don't see how were going to be able to hold on to him. All these offers coming in, in home visits, it's going down to signing day on this one for sure.

I trust the staff. The staff likes this kid. So do I. The staff wants to move him around a little and see where he fits, I'm fine with that.

They have more football knowledge between all of them, then I have in my pinky. Dooley knows every player he takes can make or break his class. He's not going to take someone who won't work out somewhere. He's keeping Blanc for a reason, and we only see the 2*, but they don't even care about that.

I hope he succeeds. I love the players like Devrin Young who everyone doubts.
