Any one know his family's economic background? I would never fault a kid for going to school 45 minutes from home vs. 6 hours from home so his family can see him play.

Would love to see this kid in Orange, but there are other factors here that would not make me upset at his decision, or play down Dooley's abilities. Now, if he commits to a Miami.... that's different.

Not sure. His school is in an area that is very diverse in terms of economic status. I am not sure who he lives with or who are his guardians are either. It was his grandparents that were going with to my understanding and were having some influence in the decision.

He did visit Arkansas this weekend, and told Arkansas recruiting guy Richard Davenport he plans to make a decision on August 1st.

I think he wants to play RB and Ole Miss has told him they would allow him to. CDD is looking at him as a DB. I don't like our chances here.

They're prolly selling the McCluster theme which might help. I'd really like to have him and give him a shot at RB 1st but CDD isn't selling false promises. IMO If he wants a shot at the nfl, DB is more realistic.

yeah and he's been very brief when discussing them. IMO he only shows love for them because how hard they're workin on him. "I just like how [ARK] have recruited me. They think I can be a big part of their program. I like their school."

Would CDD gave him the news he wanted to hear? The kid wants to play RB. Maybe IF CDD told Green we were taking 4 RBs...this type of situation is what he had in mind. RBs who would be at different positions within a year or so. Your taking a RB....who will be a DB.
