With Gross, you do not know which offers are as an ATH. The fact that he passed up those better offers to go to Memphis tells you who is going to allow him to play QB.

For a team that's won 3 games in the past 2 seasons, it's a pretty good start to the recruiting class. By the end of the day, Memphis may have committments from 2 of the states top 25 players. Nothing says that both UT and Memphis can't have great recruiting classes, subjectively.

I heard that KY and possibly Miss St were the only ones that were willing to give him a chance at QB. Which really means, that they were willing to tell him that until he got on campus.

Either way, he will be a talent upgrade at Memphis. Time will tell if he has what it takes to be a QB there though.

I agree with you, no reason Memphis cant get a few of the top 25 players. Would much prefer Memphis get them over Vandy. Good pickup for you guys!:thumbsup:

Baby steps. Recruit fringe SEC level recruits will let you compete in C-USA. You cherry pick a few high level recruits down the road somewhere and you're set up to start winning C-USA outright. Gotta start somewhere.
