Guys, Redmond has to get a firm offer before he can commit. He does not have one currently. The coaches want him to run the 40. Just FYI.

I could see something like...coaches want to see him in person or in one on ones...but a 40? i find that very hard to believe imho...

Yeah, he'll be at camp. Your theory is intriguing though Knox and something about it IS strange. I've said that for awhile.

Could have been a slow play tactic. They knew he wanted to make a decision at the end of the summer, but wanted to see how he performed at other camps in addition to making sure they were not in better with more highly rated prospects. Just a thought...

He's down to five schools with Mississippi State, North Carolina and the Vols as the top three. Redmond likes the Vols and he'll be at camp next week to check out Tennessee one more time before he announces.

After his temper tantrum at camp, he will not have a committable offer in the future unless we miss out on about 50 other guys -- if then.

Why do we have to clutter up every single thread with folks lusting after him??

I beg to differ -- yes, have made a lot of posts about him, but I only respond when I see yet another message about him in every thread I read. It is unbelievable how many threads have been hijacked by folks going on about how great the kid is, and how wonderful his offer list is, and how we cannot survive if we do not get him -- not just here, but on TOS also.

It has even been worse than with D Young last year, and that was bad. It just seems to me that if folks wanted to talk about him they could do so in the thread that is devoted to him.

Dude there is nothing worse than DY. I got a recent thread(today as a matter of fact) hijacked with DY talk. You're overreacting to every Kimbrow post. Just don't say anything everyone will realize we're not after Kimbrow anymore. But just an FYI he had a committable offer. Stop kidding yourself.

He wants to commit in two weeks. In two weeks, camp will be over, and he will have run the 40 for our staff, meaning his offer would be commitable.

if you dont want him talked about maybe YOU should stop mentioning him in nearly every one of your replies ...

and to make things worse, you try to act like you have some knowledge of the situation, when you really do not.
