Another stud commit for you guys that doesn't even list Florida, LSU, Georgia or several of these "powerhouse" schools you guys always compare too as far as stars, talent, etc. this guy didn't even give any of those schools the time of day. he is a top 10 talent in TN easily.

Good get from a stud playmaker in the secondary.

FWIW...his coach...who also coaches Kimbrow...has said that by the end of the season people will consider Redmond the #1 player in Memphis

Don't get me wrong, I know this kid is good, and I'd love for UT to get him. However, you're on to something. It raises a good question. Why didn't the other powerhouse SEC programs even look at him? No offers from UF, LSU, UGA, Bama, or Barn. I know he came on to the scene much later than Kimbrow, and he's just started hitting major camps over the past couple of months. Maybe that's the answer? I'm not sure. Maybe after his season and the film of the season are released these previously named schools will come in and offer.

he is a QB projecting a change on the next level to DB,
the summer hasnt ended and he has offers from ND, Miami, Clemson, UNC, and Vols...

You are going to get some of your negative nellies stirred up. They trust the offer list, star rankings and stuff more than your own staffs talent evaluation.

UNC is arguably the best offer a defensive kid can get. Bama is right there with them.

Butch Davis can flat-out evaluate talent. He was impressed enough to offer and that's plenty good enough for me.
