Brian Kimbrow & Will Redmond just informed me they plan to sign with the same school.

FYI...Redmond told me he pretty much has the UT offer. He just has to get Dooley his tape to make it official.

So, it is safe to say that UT is in very good position atp for two packages of players. Kimbrow and Redmond (RB and DB), and Corey Smith and Jarrod Wilson (WR and S). I would be very pleased, to say the least, with these guys.

Let's say we get both of those package deals. That would give us 2 RBs (Cross, Kimbrow), 1 WR (Corey Smith), and 2 DBs (Wilson, Redmond).

I think most on here would say that Bowles and Patterson are still takes at WR and that Geno Smith, Holsey, and Bowman are still takes at DB.

That's a lot of skill position players for a class that will probably be tight on numbers are where our real needs are at DT, DE, and LB.

Great problem to have when we've got so many guys liking us this early on, but it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

CDD wants game film prior to offering, and not highlight film. I dont think the offer is based on his highlights. Gonna be interesting though.

"I'm getting a good vibe from Tennessee," Redmond said. "I get mail from them every day and I hear a lot from my recruiting coach, Coach [Charlie] Baggett. I've got a good relationship with them and he always tells me they can use me."

Redmond doesn't believe he will get offers simply because of his relationship with Kimbrow.

"It's not going to make a difference," he said. "Schools are going to pay attention to me."
