Like someone already mentioned, Redmond did everything for his team last year. QB/RB/WR/DB/K/KR/PR. He wont have to do that at Memphis East w/ Kimbrow there. Redmond will play WR/DB & return kicks w/ Kimbrow.

He's a ballplayer. Very nice prospect with some good tools to work with. I think he has more physical talent than Tino Thomas from last year's class. His speed is legit. Man dude is fast.

Redmon said he will know by the end of the week if Alabama will offer

Stanford, Vandy, & Memphis came by to see him.

"Coach Brooks told me a lot about Clemson," Redmond said. "Mostly about the education part. How they are winning. It's a good place to be and they have a good education program and play good football there. The only thing I know about Clemson is they have good looking uniforms."

The prospect has been to Vanderbilt, Tennessee and Memphis. He plans on visiting Clemson and Cincinnati in early June.

Where does this news now put the Tigers for his services?

"My top three are Vanderbilt, Cincinnati and Clemson," Redmond listed.

I agree... but it seems to be working with all the talent they seem to land. Is everyone trying to offer Redmond to get Kimbrow or do you think they are offering on his own performance.

IMO both, Redmond has the size, speed, & tools to be a good DB. He is just raw & needs work, since he transfered to Memphis East he will get more exposure playing w/ Kimbrow this season.

If UT doesn't offer before camp, UT will offer when he camps here. That is assuming that he plans to camp here. I'm assuming he will since Kimbrow will.

“He told me he was real interested and asked how I would feel about running down the hill and rubbing that rock. I was real excited. I didn’t know he was going to offer me,” Redmond said. “Later on that night, when I talked to him and said I had a full scholarship to Clemson. I was real excited.

“He talked to my mom. No coach ever did talk to my mom or ask about her, so that put Clemson real high on my list.”

Might a trip to Tigertown be up next?

“I told my mom I want to go down there at the end of May or early June,” Redmond said.

Tennessee will offer at camp IMO, they just want to see him do drills in person.
