Alot of the local kids claim they are waiting on that UT offer. Only problem is..when it comes...nothing happens or they announce another school leads.

Yeah, he did commit very quickly after getting the offer he said he wanted. That tells me the kid was being honest and really wanted to be a Vol. I look forward to seeing DY in the return game.

This. I think I mentioned it a little while back in the thread. But, this staff has been big on seeing the film or the player in person, especially, before offering. I'm sure he'll get it at camp in June.

Don't read too much into it when it is reported that these kids are "waiting" on an offer from any school.

I am sure it goes something like this...

Reporter: Has TN offered yet?
Recruit: No, not yet.
Reporter: Recruit X is waiting on a TN offer.
Fans: OMG, he is waiting on our offer! He is going to commit as soon as he gets one, what are we waiting for?!?!

I agree with LV that Redmond will get an offer. IMO, he will not get as a condition of a package deal with Kimbrow. I think the kid is good enough to earn a offer on his own merits.

I think both end up at UT. IMO, the best thing that Dooley and Co. did was to put CCB on the Memphis kids.

My comment is in reguard to local kids who claim UT is their dream school. They claim that an offer from Tennessee would be a dream come true. When the offer comes through....they announce Vandy is their leader. Could they end up a Vol? Maybe....I for one would not mind us filling the spot with someone else. JMO

we are really starting to get in Memphis now. lots of talent in that city this year too.

I understand what you are saying. My point was that just like in politics, people twist what is really said to make it sound how they want and I wouldn't believe it unless I heard it come out of the recruits mouth with my own two ears.
Reporter: what do you think about TN?
Recruit: it would be a dream come true to play in the SEC.
Reporter: Recruit X says it would be a dream come true to play for TN.

Or even worse than reporters twisting the words of recruits is reporters asking questions that lead recruits to a particular answer:
What'd you think of that brand new $30 million facility they just built?
What'd you think of that 105,000 seat stadium?

Its all because of the person that is recruiting Memphis atp. Sadly, we would have had a few more had we kept Coach Redbull out of the area during that 1 year period... wounds have taken this long to heal...

I hope he gets that offer because it's becoming more apparent that to get Kimbrow you need Redmond.
