I don't blame the kid at all for looking at Alabama or even going there. They just had a Heisman winner, about to either have another one or at least a top2 or 3. Playing for the NC 2 of the last 3 years and basically have the best coach in football. Bama is tough to beat on the recruiting path

Not sure about the guidance counselors (never went to see them), but one of the Asst. Principals is a HUGE 'Bama, so I could easily see him saying things to Mathers. I don't know if he has.

Im generally opposed to bad mouthing a kid, but when he continually throws Tennessee under the bus then he had better be prepared to get it dished back at him. Rarely do you ever see an in-state, Tennessee kid not have any interest whatsoever in Tennessee. He truly has a hatred for Tennessee. Hope he hangs around somewhere in the SEC and gets a chance to personally meet LaDarrell McNeil.
