You guys are hilarious when there is an in-state recruit. We've got Tom Smith on the roster as well as Alden Hill coming in. Would rather have a lot better back than Mathers. I've stayed out of this thread because it feels like the DY thread last year. Glad he doesn't have interest in us. He has a wonderful attitude too for an average back. All that will be over as soon as he steps on campus. Reality will set in really quick.

DY had a decent year but I think he is an average player with really good speed. I have seen Mathers on several occasions and he is really good but not a special or top level back. JMO..

The week after we played Alabama (SC), DY had 2 Kickoff returns for 63 yards. Not exactly shabby.

This guy's better than Tom Smith and Alden Hill. Where a player comes from is irrelevant to me.
